On Thursday 12th October our live music session at The Tuppenny features the return of Oli Norman, who last featured on this stage at the 2017 Shuffle in an excellent but technically cursed set (who seriously breaks 2 strings on their first number? We blame the fact he had shaved his beard off…).
The brilliant Oxford duo The August List have long been favorites of ours and we have managed to bag them for two shows this month – Sunday 4th June at The Golden Lion in Bristol (show starts at 4pm) and again on Thursday 22nd June at The Tuppenny in Swindon from 8.30pm. Both are free entry too!
Luckless, one of our favourite artists is coming back and playing for us at The Tuppenny on April 27th and we cant wait!
Our residency at The Golden Lion in Bristol hits month three and continues to go from strength to strength and this month we have a beauty. Sunday 12th March sees Oxford based troubadour Jonny Payne arrive with his band The Thunder.
Once again, fate has conspired to give us two high class shows in quick succession at The Beehive, that bohemian watering hole on the margins of Old Town that we do so love. These Beehive shows really are like buses – nothing for ages, you turn your back and suddenly two of the buggers come round the corner.
We are super excited to announce that we will be taking up a monthly residency in Bristol from January 2017. One Sunday a month at the fabulous Golden Lion on Gloucester Road in the city will become our home.
Bare Knuckle Parade celebrate the release of new single “Come Alive” in November with a UK tour that brings them through Swindon with a show for SoP at Level III in Swindon on Friday November 18th.
For June 30th we have managed to secure three marvellous acts that are all hallmarked by their spine-tingling vocal styles and atmospheric music, so it promised to be a very special night.
