We bore witness to some fantastic and diverse music last week, ranging from the snarling punk of Ghost of the Avalanche to the smooth Americana vibes of Don Gallardo. All was brilliant. We are back to 3 shows this week, much more what has become a business as usual week after last week’s “fallow week” with three great shows across three great venues, including the triumphant and long awaited return of The Black Hats rhythm section!
After the madness of the last week and a glut of fabulous SoP shows we calm it down with just the single Unplugged effort this week, although it is a bit of a different show…
As always, Dave has booked four rather superb acoustic based shows for the month of April down at the Donkey (or The RoDonk as he has started calling it) that show just how diverse “acoustic” music can be.
It is a stupidly busy week for us this week with no less than 4 shows featuring 15 acts over 5 days. Phew.
